Eat German pig elbow, drink a large beer, feel the charm of street food.

This is one of these typical craft breweries which are obviously growing. I liked the different types of beers. The food is average as you can expect in such a venue but you will find something to eat. I was there several times and also in different other cities in Germany all with the same impression: Good for beers - average for food.

We enjoyed our visit to Brauhaus on Thurs 2 June. We had booked our table from England and this all went smoothly and our table was ready when we arrived. The staff were really friendly, the restaurant looks good and is clearly popular with locals and tourists alike. The beer is excellent. The food is tasty, well cooked and arrives in very generous proportions! There is plenty to chose from, and easily caters for children (although they probably need to share 1 dish). It is a good night out, and somewhere we would certainly go back to.

Had the pork knuckle which was perfectly cooked. House wheat beer (weizen) was very good. My friends were also pleased with their order Kind staff.

Beer was great, food was wholesome and good. BUT when I disputed the bill, because it was wrong, I had a protracted "conversation" with a waiter who was not happy, I told him to get the manager, he came back without the manager, but had authorization to amend the bill.He explained that they were understaffed and busy which indeed they were, However during the conversation a blonde haired waitress made some loud and obviously derogatory comments about me. My wife who is German told me what she had said,which was along the lines of: "Don't talk to him in English he can speak German", (sadly not true). Swearing was used by her but I am not allowed to illustrate this. This ignorant. rude and factually incorrect comment came from someone who avoided serving us all afternoon, seemed intent on avoiding work and was completely without foundation. She should not be working in the service industry and is an embarrassment to the management and staff of this establishment. It is a shame that one appallingly ignorant, workshy rude member of staff can give such a lasting bad impression
