The small restaurant is quaint and fits the Thai decor. Me and my husband have been coming here since 1997 when we met. The food is still the same and excellent, although they don't come around with the "rice tin" anymore for complimentary rice refills on your plate like they did back in the day. The service is on point and the rice is always hot, the vegetables crisp and fresh and meats savory and delicious. If you miss an appetizer, go for dessert because the Combo Dessert is too die for. Cold coconut ice cream served with warm fried banana wrapped in a thin pastry crust topped with sesame and drizzled honey...soooo GOOD! We order 1 and share, but its hard to share. Back then it was 2 separate desserts but so many people ordered it together, they added it to the dessert menu as one item. Ask for the condiment spice caddy which doesn't come automatic to the table. It is a set of mini jars that each have a spice to add more flavor to your food. One has red pepper flakes, another chopped peanuts, and my favorite the fish sauce. Now our last visit our older kids came too and at our daughter's request for her 10th birthday. There is no children's menu I believe...no birthday singing waiters but she too loves that Combo Dessert and wanted to come here to treat herself for that. Smart girl, with good taste. We'll be back.
