Went there on the tour, so it was a bit rush. Wine tasting only 2 kinds, the staff not speaking good english. and no one to help with question or wine recommendation, which was not what we expected, as usually when we went for wine tasting, we can get recommendation on which wine is suitable for us. I recommend Grace winery at chitose better as they can give you wine tasting and also the recommendation.

There are many types of wine in the tasting, most of which are sake and beer produced in Hokkaido. The restaurant is small in size, but the dining environment is comfortable and clean. The store provides a variety of side dishes and sushi and seafood such as salmon sea.

The magnificent building is built with heavy gray stone bricks and is elegant and elegant with beautifully shaped arched windows. It is a good choice to sit next to the bar and order some wine and delicious food in the restaurant.

Not much English spoken but the universal language of wine and food took its place. Plenty of options to try and reasonable prices if you want to buy. Free shipping to Japanese addresses if you buy a lot.The cheese is well presented but I didn't try any of it. Great old building that was once part of Otaru's Wall Street in the boom days of plentiful herring catches. Staff were happy and enthusiastic about their offerings.

Enjoyed the dinner after braving the cold and walked from my hotel Nord. Old government building converted into a restaurant and wine bar since 1996. We had curry rice. Sphagehtti. With white wine from Otaru and Hokkaido (grapes from Youchi). Its was a wonderful match. We saw a table with local eating off the menu, with deserts of custard cream puff. Its a pity such delicious deserts was not on the menu. We wanted to try but was told there was none. Next round we will order in advance. Will go there again soon.
