Gilson's Brazillian Restaurant Review

I've never felt so ripped off in my life about a meal. The decor in the place will lead you to believe you're about to experience something nice. First they seated us a unclean booth that still had food from the last family. There was some type of gravy on the floor they they came and cleaned up with a filthy mop. The waiter spoke almost no English and couldn't explain how the buffet worked so once he walked away we sat there for 15 min till he returned with our diet cokes which were served to us in a can at a price of $3.00 per can of coke, yes $3.00 for a $0.50 can Coke. The buffet had very limited selection, right in line with your everyday Golden Corral. They will ask you how you want your steak cooked but it doesn't matter because the steaks are only about 1/3 in tick so they come pretty well done even if you order med/rare as my family did. Overall I'd give the food a 6.5 but the real kicker is they charge 15% gratuity on a BUFFET!! The waiter was a nice guy and even though he spoke little English he tied to be helpful the one and only time he came to the table. Yes he took our drink order and never returned, the steaks were brought out by a different person. Yes 15% tip is standard and I have no problem under normal circumstances paying that much but when your bill for 3 people is $77 and you were severed can Cokes and you only see your waiter once 15% is absolutely absurd!! This was a $45 meal with poor service. I have never written a review before and felt my experience was so bad I needed to warn others.
