We had a family dinner here and sat at a round table in the front window. We were a family of Indians (from southern India and Mumbai), Portuguese, American and German, so we felt we knew Indian cuisine. Service was good, they had a decent wine list (indian restaurants generally don't have a tasty wine menu) and very tasty food. We ordered appetizers with fish and chicken curry bread. Our family left home happily and happily. If you are in that area, not far from the National Cathedral. We have eaten Indian food all over the world and this is definitely a good experience.

Washington's selected Indian restaurant, but after entering, I felt that there was nothing to eat, so I ate cakes and a little rice set meal, which tasted more spicy. The environment can only be said to be generally the same, the decoration is a bit old.

We are a regular visitor here and it's getting better every year. Last night we had chicken pickled two grape juices and wonderful beets and curry lamb, with a weird purple color.

Obviously the best Indian restaurant in DC.

We had two meals here and both had excellent dining experiences. This restaurant is Tenleytown close to American universities and our son went to school very convenient when we visited. We have been impressed with Dahl and curry and found the proper spices and salt. The stew is delicious. The only downside is our last meal and the tough Indian roast chicken.

While waiting for the table, she started drinking salmon beer, which was much longer than the promised five minutes, but that was Friday night. Then there were cauliflower and lamb appetizers, which were good, the latter the best. Then spinach and eggplant dishes, served with cooked rice. Service could have been faster, but the food was delicious when it finally came.

I doubt this place will live up to its lofty Zagat rating, but it surprises me. On a weekday evening (not many others) went with three colleagues. I don’t remember the name of the appetizer we ordered, but I tried it all. They all cleverly presented, delicious. My main course curry lamb was naughty and more than the fire (I have warned). I loved it. Dare to go to the drinks menu except for Kim Fischer, no dessert to try. Most importantly price: excellent value. Good service but appropriately thoughtful. The restaurant is not in the city center but worth the trip to the red line. Will be back.
