Just gave this little place a try during a recent trip to Washington and was pleasantly surprised. The food is quite good, and the service friendly and attentive. Good selection of wines and beers. I'll be back.

    5/5Outstanding

The food here was so delicious. We walked here( definitely recommend doing Uber instead) but the food was so wonderful we came back the following evening with a larger group. I had the brisket, which was better than any I have eaten, even in Texas. One of my party had the lobster shrimp lasagna that could feed a family of four and always so good he also are it the second night. I would also recommend the peach Cosmo as it was unique and added to both evenings. With a party of 12, the service was attentive, everything was ls correct and timely, and all of the food high quality and beyond delicious.

The food here is perfect, tatsy, and delicate. The menu is well thought out and put together with thought and care. The chef Peter Prime is amazing he came out to check on us and make sure everything was GREAT. My entire family was so excited to eat here and plan to come back as much as possible. We are hoping to host an even there for Howard Homecoming.

    1/5Terrible

We stopped in about 6pm for a quick bite with our kids. Things got off to a promising start when they gave our kids great coloring books & crayons. It quickly went downhill. One of the key things about dining with kids is you want your food quickly. We not only didn't get food quickly, we ended up having to leave after about 75 minutes with 3 hungry kids who never got their dinner, after repeated promises that our food was "on the way." I had to get up and find the waiter several times to get an update. Even more troubling, a large party next to us arrived after us & received multiple rounds of drinks and their entrees while we waited & waited. This sent a clear message to us that families weren't really the target audience for this place. If you have kids, I'd steer clear....
