Takoma Station Tavern Review

I'm originally from the DC area and used to frequent this place a lot. I will say it has changed quite a bit. I was visiting my family in Delaware and decided to go here for awhile. There was a local band playing. The food was pretty good and the drink the bartender made was excellent. I will say I am not a lightweight when it comes to drinking but this all I needed was one! It was strong but very tasty. The crowd was very light, much lighter than to be expected for a Saturday night but I actually preferred it that way. I think the cover price is really high considering it was just a local band playing that didn't even start until after 11:00 pm and they close at 2:00 or 3:00. I was a bit dissapointed in that but overall I enjoyed the night.

If you are new to the area and want to get to know DC quick fast and in a hurry! Come here! They have the people, wings and mambo sauce, fish and chips and the best Long Island iced teas for twenty years and running! Jazz, and smooth Go Go drops you and transforms you to days gone by but, in a adult,and safe environment! Tell David, that Petty sent you!
