Service was friendly and efficient, we had very nice and delicious food from start to finish. Also planned on looking for WLRfm soon they were excellent value.

Great menu. The food i ate was great, every bite. It is a little expensive but justified in the quality of the ingredients and choices made in combinations.

Popped in for lunch with friends. What a hidden gem. We were walking past but there is parking available. The food on the counter all looks lovely and fresh. There are great menu choices from pies, sandwiches to salads. The lady serving us was so friendly and recommended some dishes as we couldn't decide! We sat on the seating outside in the sun and food came promptly. Each dish tasted and looked delicious. There are 2 parts to the place which is a restaurant and a shop/cafe. We were in the cafe but will definitely be going back to visit the restaurant. Prices were really reasonable and we really couldn't fault our visit. Highly recommend

We went as a family of 6 and had a lovely table upstairs which was square shape which meant we could all chat to each other and was in a great position within the restaurant. The food was lovely I had the tomato and mozzarella to start which looked beautiful with an array of tomatoes of all colours shapes and sizes followed by the steak and ale pie with garlic mash and peas which was so tasty and beautifully presented. Then finished with an apple tart which had the best chattily cream I have ever tasted. The staff were friendly and very attentive and everyone loved their meals. We were very impressed and will be going back soon!

    3/5Average

We visited as a couple and the restaurant was very quiet. The decor was clean and crisp. I liked that there was parking too, a bonus in Pontcanna. The menu was very limited for us, but we found something to order. The starters were really nice; crab cakes and smoked mackerel. The mains however, were a disappointment. We had tuna and gnocci. They were both really salty and the base for both meals was exactly the same, which lacked imagination. The tuna was seared in places, over cooked in others. The gnocci was over powered by strong olives. The presentation of everything was lovely. However, we wont be rushing back as it was expensive for what it was and Cardiff has some lovely places to eat now for not much more.
