We visited as a couple and the restaurant was very quiet. The decor was clean and crisp. I liked that there was parking too, a bonus in Pontcanna. The menu was very limited for us, but we found something to order. The starters were really nice; crab cakes and smoked mackerel. The mains however, were a disappointment. We had tuna and gnocci. They were both really salty and the base for both meals was exactly the same, which lacked imagination. The tuna was seared in places, over cooked in others. The gnocci was over powered by strong olives. The presentation of everything was lovely. However, we wont be rushing back as it was expensive for what it was and Cardiff has some lovely places to eat now for not much more.
