Bayside Brasserie Review

The typical white background style decoration, looks very comfortable, makes people feel clean and tidy.

Was in Cardiff with a female friend having a couple of nights away just for fun and stumbled apron this gem. The food and ingredients were locally produced, beautifully presented and a great menu, original and honestly one of the best meals I've ever eaten. Service was excellent, we weren't rushed, but it was attentive, ambience and interior design A+ - just can't fault it, really wish it was more local to North Hampshire!

Myself and husband came here for lunch. Beautiful restaurant inside and lovely views over the bay. There is only one negative which prevents me from giving my review 5 stars and that was down to the pure rudeness of one of the chefs/manager (not sure who he was but he was in the kitchen) who loudly told a waiter off for serving us too much bread and for slicing it too thick. He kept on and on to the point we felt uncomfortable and felt very sorry for the waiter. It was very unprofessional and he should have been taken to the back or a private room, it should t have been done in view of customers Other than that the staff who served us and welcomed us and we're all very professional, friendly and tentative and do this place proud. Food is lovely and service was quick.

The atmosphere is lovely and the building is a wonderful setting for your meal. The staff are attentive and the food LOOKS fantastic. But that is where is ends. The food was consistently under seasoned and lacking in flavour. I have eaten at far cheaper places and had superior meals. This is my second visit to this restaurant and I have had the same experience both times.
