La Fourchette Review

We were a group of 11 people that visited this small restaurant. They accommodated us all very well although I thought the restaurant could have had some fans as it was quite warm. The French owner translated the menu into English for us. They have an excellent menu and everyone was very happy with their choices of dinner. They had good vegetarian choices too. Traditional food that was cooked perfectly. Visitors should definitely try this restaurant.

We were celebrating a birthday. The food was outstanding. Nothing fancy, but traditional cuisine brought to perfection.

It is just a little restaurant but it is one of the best in Basel especially if you consider the low prices. French cuisine at its bests and the desserts are home made pieces of art. You have to try it but make sure you make a reservation. I will certainly go again.

A great place to eat. Relaxed environment, very friendly staff and great food. Humus starter was fantastic. Poulet au citron exceptional- what I think we're lemons made to taste like apple - just delicious all round. The reviews have a strange bimodal distribution, I see. No one thinks it's average. Never seen that before, but my experience (given the very reasonable cost) was definitely top end.
