The Royal Beer House in Munich was founded in 1589 and has been around for more than 400 years. The bright colours on the roof give you a retro taste, accompanied by Bavarian-flavored bands. For centuries, the Royal Beer House has been the best place to meet celebrity politicians. Princess Sisi, Goethe, Lenin and others have been guests of the beer house. The Royal Beer House is best known for its own brewed light beer, dark beer and whole wheat beer, with a daily consumption of 10,000 litres. Munich enjoys the title of "World Beer Championship" because people drink beer on average, 230 litres (460 pounds) per person per year. In addition to beer is a must, the roast chicken, German pig's feet and Munich's famous white sausages are worth tasting. Didn't come here for beer, hardly counts Munich. Best to go by bus or walk.
