About Route 1

Route 1 was built in 1974. The road is also known as the “circular highway” because it forms a large circle that encircles the whole of Iceland. As one of Iceland's landmarks, the road is very popular with tourists. There is only one single lane on some sections of the road, passing through many bays, the subarctic desert and the Atlantic coast. Self-driving people will experience the double feeling of ice and fire. However, due to the old bridges along the roads and the lack of asphalt on some sections, it also adds a lot of difficulty to self-driving.

Highway 1, I thought it was a luxury road. In fact, it is only a two-way common path, in some places, there is only one way in both directions, which requires comity. But it is this road that gives me a good driving feeling. First, it has a good view, cars can be seen several kilometers away. Second, it is scattered, hillside, flat connection, straight curve is reasonably designed, and it is very comfortable to drive. Unlike in China, there are rest spots, restaurants, toilets and even accommodation on the road. The roadside can't be stopped generally, and must be stopped at temporary parking places. When Leishi was opened, there were more central turntables, and then they went straight. The scenic spots along the road will be a certain distance, mostly not very far. There is no charge on the road, and there is no charge for parking in scenic spots. You can buy food and free toilets in towns along the way. But we still have enough food and drink in Leishi's supermarket. Salmon, sausage, bread, bubble water and so on.

Driving out of Highway 1, everybody likes it very much. The tour guide just stopped on the road. She said it was your trip. The road divides the sky into two halves, half colorful and half silent. It s my trip and also your trip.

Highway 1 is Iceland's main avenue. It connects several major cities in Iceland. Many scenic spots are connected by him. Iceland's natural environment is very primitive. A curved continent shuttles through deserts and alpine lakes. It really feels very refreshing and free.

Golden Circle worth visiting! Oil price is more than 11 yuan, including highway toll. In fact, there is no decent bridge. There are no signal lights, street lights and even trees along the way. This is Highway No. 1! ___________ Harsh conditions, beautiful scenery!

Almost all the journeys in Iceland are completed around Highway 1. This 360-degree circular road surrounds Iceland. There are no traffic lights and almost no vehicles to follow. Sometimes, I run alone in the endless sky and earth, maybe with many seconds of illusion, as if I were on a lonely alien planet. Walking along Highway 1, sometimes I don't feel like I'm on a lonely planet. Icelandic horses, the purest breed of horses in the world, have short legs, elegant hair, and they are both gentle and friendly. But once they are taken abroad, they can never return home.

Iceland's Highway 1 was built in 1974 and is about 830 miles long (about 1336 kilometers). Highway is also called "Ring Highway , because it forms a big circle, which encircles the whole Iceland. It is welcomed by tourists who love self-driving. Part of the highway has only one single lane. Along the way, it passes through many bays, sub-Arctic deserts and Atlantic coasts. Self-driving drivers will experience the double feelings of ice and fire. However, due to the old bridges along the highway and the lack of asphalt in some sections, it also adds a lot of difficulties to self-driving.

Iceland Highway 1, the road through heaven's ice and fire. Along Highway 1, there were surprises along the way. There were pure black gravel walking on Mars, bright volcanic rock vegetation suddenly appearing, icebergs in the distance, mountains wrapped in sudden denness of fog, quiet blue and pink colours under the sunset, and finally the colour of the afterglow felt that the whole island was in love.
