Capt.Dell_A380The land was originally used by Indigenous peoples for thousands of years before British Columbia was colonized by the British during the 1858 Fraser Canyon Gold Rush and was one of the first areas to be explored in the city. For many years after colonization, the future park with its abundant resources would also be home to non-Indigenous settlers. The land was later turned into Vancouver's first park when the city incorporated in 1886. It was named after Lord Stanley, 16th Earl of Derby, a British politician who had recently been appointed Governor General. It was originally known as Coal Peninsula and was set aside for military fortifications to guard the entrance to Vancouver harbour. In 1886 Vancouver city council successfully sought a lease of the park which was granted for $1 per year. In September 1888 Lord Stanley opened the park in his name.
E38***43Canada Place was a fun place to visit. There were so many things to see and do. We were lucky to be there during an anime cosplay expo. We're able to interact with cosplayers and ask them for a photo. It's definitely worth visiting!
bradytangTo celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, the Richmond Olympic Oval, the former speed skating venue, will be open for free on February 21-23, 2020. There are ice hockey games, figure skating shows, and some games on the second floor. The Olympic Experience on the third floor is also free.
E46***54A good place to stay for at least half day. You can find 1-2 companies there that offer boat trip for whale watching. There are also many good seafood restaurants around. I like to visit there on Sunday morning because sometimes there are fishing boat selling fresh shrimps and urchin. They are good for sashimi.

I was excited to see these varities of Veggies and fruits in Richmond Market. I almost made basket full but when I was about to pay oh boy, did I forget that in BC is expensive. Enjoyed roaming around though
Vancouver International Airport, Canada's second largest airport, is also the second busiest international airport. A variety of lounges, restaurants and service facilities are relatively complete, especially ice wine is worth buying, as a hand letter. The airport is very large, the security check time is slightly longer, pay attention to reserve more time, the indoor space is more spacious and bright, and the service is also good. It is one of the best airports in North America. In 2007 and 2010, it won the SKYTRAX North America Best Airport Award.

From HI Vancouver Central to Vancouver YVR Airport, we will take the 7km to Vancouver City Centre Station, take the subway to YVR-Airport Station and get to YVR Airport.
Unexpectedly, the Vancouver airport is smaller than I expected. Originally thought that Vancouver is the gateway city to the west of Canada, this airport should be bigger. The advantage is that the security inspection team on international flights is much shorter than expected (but international flights are still relatively safe to the airport three hours in advance), you can have more time to visit duty-free shops, and the Chinese mark of duty-free shops is large. One disadvantage of the airport is that the power interface in the waiting area is difficult to find, and you can't find a place to charge the phone.
The choice of movies for the South China Airlines inflight entertainment system is quite large, enough for a dozen hours of voyage to pass the time. Successfully arrived at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport.
