Located on the east side of the Chijuca National Forest, Jesus Mountain was built to commemorate the success of the Brazilian independence movement. From a distance, it seems to welcome and embrace people coming to Brazil. When the weather is fine during the day, you can see the image of Jesus in any corner of Rio. When the night falls, the white light on the image of Jesus will match the urban landscape of the mountain, which is psychedelic and solemn.
Sculptures representing Brazil. There are countless movie signs for scenery. The first impression of Brazil is here: the image of Jesus. The image of Jesus is at the top of Mount Jesus. Considering Brazil's poor security, hiking is highly recommended. In addition to the taxi ride, I strongly recommend the choice of mountaineering train, which will go straight to the top of Mount Jesus. The station is just below the statue of Jesus, and you can take the escalator directly to the foot of the statue of Jesus. It should be noted that mountain trains are not very crowded, and there will be a lot of people during the holidays, so it is very likely that more than an hour of waiting time will be required. It is suggested to visit the statue of Jesus in the morning, because it faces the direction of the rising sun. At noon it's just above the head of the statue of Jesus, and at afternoon it's behind him. Most of the most beautiful pictures in travel magazines are taken in the morning.
It can't be simply described as grandeur. It must come once in a lifetime. Cristo Redentor is a large statue of Jesus Christ with decorative art style. It is located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is the symbol of the city and one of the most famous commemorative sculptures in the world. It was selected as one of the new seven wonders of the world in 2007. The statue of Christ was completed in 1931 and stands 38 meters high on the top of the 710-meter-high Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro National Forest Park, overlooking the city. Welcoming visitors from all over the world with open arms is a symbol of Brazilian people's warm acceptance and broad mind.
The statue of Christ is 38 metres high and weighs 1,145 tons. It stands on the top of Monte Cristo 710 metres high with open arms. We left the hotel early in the morning and turned to minibuses, elevators and escalators. When we arrived, the cloud cover was almost invisible. We waited patiently and shocked.
One of the seven wonders of the world is that the train to Rio is a little expensive, so I chose to go hiking, about 1.5-2 hours to the statue of Christ. There are many visitors, typical popular tourist destination. Before you go, you don't know why this statue can be a wonder of the world, but when you get under it, your God's vision overlooks Rio's charming bay, and then look at Christ's embrace, maybe you will understand a little bit about why!
The Corcovado Mountains are 710 meters high and are located in Tijuka National Park, Rio City. The mountains are full of ancient trees and lush all the year round. The first name of Mount Corcovado comes from its humpbacked back; the second name comes from the cross-shaped statue of Jesus on the top of the hill, so it is also called Mount Jesus. The huge statue of Jesus can be seen in every corner of the city and is one of the symbols of Rio.
Mount Jesus is my most anticipated stop for Rio. It was cloudy in the morning and the fog was heavy. I was afraid that I could not see Rio from the top of the mountain. After climbing the mountain top, the fog dispersed a lot, overlooking the Beauty of Bread Mountain and Butterfly Lake. It's not easy to take pictures with Jesus. There are too many people on the top of the hill and it's too big. This one is not easy for me. As soon as we got down, the fog became heavier. It rained heavily and nothing could be seen. We're lucky. Well, Jesus loves us!
Mount Jesus is on the coastal road of Touton City, nearly three hours'drive from Ho Chi Minh City. It's mainly to blow the sea breeze and eat seafood in Touton City. The seafood street here is very cheap. After weighing in kilograms, it helps you to process and cook. Mount Jesus is a hill. Twenty minutes from the entrance to the top should be enough, but the sun in Vietnam is too poisonous to choose. It would be better to come in the morning or evening. Along the way, you can enjoy some sculptures and flowers, and you can enjoy the sea view from the top.
Looking at the strategy beforehand, we know that we must go to Mount Jesus as soon as possible. One is that there are few people. The other is that the weather is changeable on the mountain, so we can go earlier and more leisurely. But the closing ceremony of the previous day came back too late. Everyone could not get up. So we arrived at Mount Jesus at more than ten o'clock. We caught up with a large number of tourists, and we were trapped in the tourist center for more than an hour in a very sad sudden rainstorm. Fortunately, after the rain and sunshine, we can see the magnificent image of Jesus in the sunshine. Although there are so many tourists on the top of the mountain, we can't take a picture of the back without any other tourists. Ha-ha. It's very convenient for taxis to go to Monte Cristo. After getting off, they buy tickets and then switch to scenic spots to shuttle buses. Another reminder is that Monte Cristo expressly forbids the use of aircraft. Let's weigh it against ourselves.
Mount Jesus is the symbol of Rio, Rio de Janeiro Christ is the symbol of the city, but also one of the seven new wonders of the world, riding on Mount Jesus, along the way growing dense tropical plants. Social vehicles can only stop at half the waist, so they need to turn to good scenic spots to go up the hill. Down the hill, besides the huge freshwater lake in the center of the city, beaches of all sizes and sizes are one after another. They are like a chain of glittering necklaces hanging on Rio neck which exudes attractive charm.
It's worth visiting here once. It overturns the previous concept that Brazil is the country of football as seen on TV. It seems that everyone can play football. In recent years, the BRICS countries have been known.
