Lapa is a neighbourhood popular for its nightlife in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is famous for its restaurants, clubs and bars. It is also the center of bohemian place in Rio. It is a dead zone in the morning and comes very much alive at night especially on weekends.
Lapa is often referred to as the heartbeat of Rio, with its legendary street parties where gringos and locals party as one. The streets around Rua da Lapa and Rua Joaquim Silva are full of bars and clubs, which are almost guaranteed to filter party-goers out onto the streets by the end of the night. Lapa is the home of salsa clubs, so it would be a shame to not go to one of Rio’s famous salsa haunts whilst you're there. However, there are other clubs and bars that offer a wide variety of other options if salsa doesn't float your boat.
Amazing party all around the streets, Lapa is one of the main concentrations of night clubs in Rio de Janeiro.
If you want to find the oldest Rio, you can visit here
Although areas dominated by slums always make people worry about security
However, the nightlife here is very colorful depending on the various bars, it is worthwhile to experience the unique passion of South Americans
