We really enjoyed a superb meal here and the price was reasonable. But as many people suggest, nothing was super impressive. Definitely not disappointed though, as many other reviewers have. I think those who give bad reviews on TripAdvisor are starting to look at Sparita a little bit inappropriate. I agree with those in towns who think this is the best place to cook in Rome, but I have to say that Roman cooking is simple in nature and not innovative. (Just 15 years ago the guidebook said "don't go to Rome for food") Today they have the cuisine of all regions, represented by the excellent Italian cuisine, "Roman cooking" is the simplest of the oysters in it, exactly, It's a very good idea to focus on the superiority of basic ingredients and pre-cooking work. We gave Sparita a perfect score on both of these, even if it was just a oxtail tomato. If you want a steak and it turns out to be a tail, don't blame the restaurant, next time you can bring a menu translator and speak your language, it's not the job of the waiter! The service is actually a bit rude and unkind. As for the bill, unfortunately, as many others have already said, there are only three words on it: “TIP IN Cash.” But the restaurant is bursting with TV advertising, and the crowd is noisy at the door, arguing for entry. Let them take a break, book in advance, and look forward to the most plain food you can have prepared in the most gorgeous way. Based on that, it was really wonderful and, yes, it was also the best meal we had in a week in Rome!
