Classic Roros view and the bell.
Hyttklokka was used to notify workers at the smelthytta (copper smelter ) when work started and finished. The bell was probably also used as an alarm, to warn of fires and other important events
You need to know what this beell was used for, but you get to know when you do the Røros wlak with a guide! Nicely kept bell in perfect surroundings for nice photos!
This is the quintessential picture spot in Røros. After a walk up the main street you have to take a picture of Hyttklokka with the church in the background.
The Bell calls once each year. It is during the opening day of Martnan in midst of February, Martnan is a historic market in mid-winter. Often very cold, between minus 10-20 degrees below zero.
