Geothermal activity in Whakarewarewa area is quite frequent. In 1886, the volcano erupted. The surviving Maori ancestors could only survive in the fountains, mud pools, hot springs and steam vents of Whakarewarewa. With their strong perseverance and extraordinary wisdom, they finally succeeded in creating their homeland in such a geothermal wonderland. Maori Cultural Village let us enter Maori. People understand Maori culture...

Maori Culture Village is a cultural attraction in Rotorua. The houses and buildings here are all traditional Maori style. At the same time, there are wonderful Maori cultural performances, as well as clothing and dance, so that you can have a comprehensive understanding of Maori culture. In fact, when I visited it, I felt that Maori culture and Southeast Asian culture were very interested, especially their totems and buildings, which could be seen in the style of Thailand and Cambodia.

Rotorua, a small town on New Zealand's North Island, has the most famous geological landscape in the world. It was formed by volcanic eruptions and has some active volcanoes up to now. Geological activities are frequent here. Geothermal fountains can be seen everywhere. Sometimes when walking on the street, you can see smoke coming from other courtyards. It's very interesting!

Maori Culture Village and Geothermal Park are located in Rotorua, about an hour and a half ride from Taolanga. We visited the geothermal fountain landscape last year. We watched Maori performances at noon. There are also woodcarving schools in the cultural village.

Early in the morning, we took a bus to Tipley Maori Cultural Village, which has the world's famous Puhutu geysers, mud pools, hot springs, as well as the birthplaces of New Zealand National Birds and Wood Carvings.

Mainly to understand the Maori culture of New Zealand aborigines. The most important thing is to watch the very spectacular geothermal geysers here. Hot springs emit hot air up to about 10 meters, standing next to watch quite shocking. This is the first geothermal geyser I have ever seen.

The air is filled with the smell of sulphur. There are several big hot springs in the cultural village, which will erupt from time to time. Maori performances are charged extra. The gardens are relatively large. After walking for about half a day, the night club of Kiwi birds is very dark. However, I can see two of them only when I see them very quietly and carefully.

The performances in Tipua Maori Culture Village are still good. The most important thing is that the buffet dinner is really delicious. Especially the pasta, salad, ice cream and dessert are freshly made. It's really good! It's worth commending. There's also a geothermal fountain in it. It's normal to watch at night. Maybe it's more interesting to watch during the day! It's still good. You can also buy some hand letters or gifts at the gift shop, especially the mud mask. It's worth recommending!
