Driving 25 minutes to the Geothermal Wonderland Park outside the town, the route is from Rotorua to the south along the Taobo direction of SH5 Highway, passing through the area of Redwood Forest Park, about 27 kilometers, following the directions of the road signs, turning into a woodland path, from time to time, you can see white smoke coming out of the woods, light sulfur smell coming with the wind, Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Park is at the end of the path. (Ticket office has free guidebook, English version and Chinese version) Entering the park, the two sides of the pavement are covered by fog, the smell of sulphur is getting stronger and stronger, the color is changing slowly, the flowers are disappearing, the green trees are becoming rare, the sulphur is fumigated and stained, all over the place, leaving only dead branches and leaves, as if arrived at "hell on earth". It turned out to be a relic left by the volcano, or rather a dormant active volcano. The open area is only a small part of the volcano. Records show that the highest temperature can reach 300 C &6. Groundwater flows through the surface of magmatic rocks and strong odor of rotten eggs can be smelled everywhere. If this strange odor is not smelled, volcanic eruption may occur. The signs clearly indicate three connected circular walks, which are divided into 30 minutes, 40 minutes, and 75 minutes of different time-length landscape walks. The total distance is 3 kilometers. The length of the line is marked with red, orange and yellow. There are 25 scenic spots along the walkway, which can be seen in turn in a circle. For your own safety, in order to avoid burns, burns and corrosion, please follow the instructions of Wai-O-Tapu to visit the formed pavement. Do not cross the banister without permission. Do not pick up the rocks, branches or other items in the garden. Then there is NOSMOKING.

The geothermal fountain at Tipua Center in Rotorua is the largest geothermal fountain in the world. It is the first time to see a magnificent geothermal fountain several tens of meters high. Everyone is very excited. There are also several bubbling mud pools in the garden. It is a natural wonder that we should not miss this trip.

It is called Xiaohuangshi, which has abundant geothermal resources. It is close to Taobo volcano, so there are many geothermal fountains and sulphur-containing hot springs. It is often seen here that hot springs 7 or 8 meters high suddenly burst out from the ground are very spectacular.

There are many similarities between Wyotarp Geothermal Wonderland and Hell Gate, but the surface of the geothermal lake here is bigger and darker. There is a deep green lake, which is caused by volcanoes. It's too deep to see the bottom. There are many exotic volcanic rocks here. They are very colorful and beautiful.

A sulphur scent filled the volcanic geothermal Park "Hell's Gate". Fog, air vents, hot water lakes. Like fairyland, it's amazing and spectacular. Waiotapu wonderland's natural scenery is certainly beautiful, but the sulphur smell of stinky eggs everywhere reminds me of the popular bathing pools in universities.

Wyotarp Geothermal Wonderland, in fact, I feel that it is the closest to Lake Taupo. It is also our trip to the Geothermal Reserve in New Zealand. Especially "Champagne Pool", it is also the most beautiful one that we have run through the hot spring pool, just like walking into a fairyland.

Wyottap Geothermal Wonderland is also a famous geothermal landscape park in Rotorua. Because it is located in the volcanic active area, it is rich in geothermal resources. The Maori people here began to use geothermal resources thousands of years ago. The smoke is rising all the year round and they seem to have entered a fairyland. Smoke may not be visible two meters away. It's absolutely a geological wonder.

$23 per person, 30 minutes drive from Rotorua (32km). We arrived at just 9:30 and there were few parking lots. When we bought tickets at the grocery store, we were told that if we wanted to see the artificial fountain at more than 10 o'clock (the specific time is forgotten, but we always forgot to see it quickly), we could go to the Geothermal Reserve first, then drive up to see Champa from the only highest point. GNE pool, seemingly eye-nourishing color, the actual taste is invincible and rich A'a! Look carefully at the water in the pool is boiling, this is the Taupo volcanic belt, and is said to be the most active area, to the pool side of a burst of steam smoke on the face is really breathless, think yesterday to soak hot springs this cosmetic effect is the same.

Beautiful geothermal wonderland. Geomorphology, natural sulfur and miracle after volcanic eruption. It takes about two hours to walk. At 10:15 a.m. every day, artificial alkali is added to simulate the volcanic eruption. It can erupt to more than ten or twenty meters in an instant, which is very spectacular.

Thermal Wonderland geothermal Wonderland is one of New Zealand's major attractions. It attracts many tourists every year. It's really a wonder. It feels like the whole lake is boiling. It's like a fairyland. Self-driving used to be very convenient. It's worth recommending.
