The Polar Museum is a cultural institution that aims to study the natural environment and polar culture of Lapland (a gathering place for indigenous people in the Arctic). It mainly shows the traces of people's lifestyle and civilization under the harsh living conditions of Lapland. The exhibition exhibits a wealth of exhibits, including various precious photos, cultural relics, audiovisual materials and film documentaries. Rovaniemi is not a big city. If you live near the city center, you can walk up to 1.5 kilometers north along Ounasjoentie Street to reach the museum. The scale here is relatively larger and more professional. The two-story museum is divided into many exhibition halls, displaying the landscape ecology, natural changes, and the culture of many ethnic groups throughout the Arctic Circle. There is also an exhibition hall dedicated to the history and culture of the Sami people, as well as many 1:1 restored models, specimens, kayaks, etc. It is worth mentioning that the building of this museum itself is in the shape of a long finger pointing to the north.

Very awesome place, a must-visit place in Rovaniemi. Just came here for a business trip and found this place. It is very close to the hotel area in the city and within walking distance. 13 Euro tickets. It is divided into a science museum area and an exhibition area, as well as a place for movies. There are simulated aurora, simulated polar bear on the windowsill, and various places to see. The glass promenade is very beautiful. Basically a must-visit place in Rovaniemi.
