Stayed at this inn twice, once in the off-season and once in the peak season. It is a fairly long-standing inn, and is quite famous in Canada, where many celebrities have visited the hotel, including Queen Elizabeth II (her signature can be seen in the foyer) and former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. The owner Barry was a very nice person, gave me a detailed account of the history of the house (the former owner of the house was also a very powerful family) and answered many of my questions patiently. After Barry knew that I was interested in history, he also let me live in a room with the oldest bed in the store. Pros: 1. Classic 2. Quiet 3. Moderate price 4. FriendlyCons:1. off-season restaurant is not open 2. Waiting for service is too long, acute or compact time planners suggest looking for another place
