Stonehenge (Stonehenge) is a popular tourist area in England, and is located in Emsbury, Wiltershire, England about 120km away from London. Stonehenge is said to be the most famous prehistoric architectural site in Britain, and its origins and methods are still a mystery in archaeology. The Stonehenge, also known as the Round Stone Forest, is a large circle of dozens of stones, some of which are six meters high, and have stood on the plain for thousands of years. According to the guide, there are legends that several important positions in Stonehenge seem to be used to indicate where the moon is angry on the summer solstice day. And from the opposite direction it is exactly where the sun is falling in the winter solstice. In addition to the sun, the moon's landing point seems to be recorded. But the moon does not start from year to year like the sun, it has a 19-year lunar calendar. At the entrance of Stonehenge, there are more than 40 columns, lined up in six rows, which correspond to the northest position of the moon in the period, so the six columns are likely to represent the six cycles, i.e., the six solar calendars, and observe and record the moon's movement for more than 100 years. Stonehenge in a large open space, need to charge a very expensive ticket, if you don't want to pay tickets and look far away, no, it is far away, not even a little can not see, so everyone will dispel this "free" idea. There is a lounge area, food and drink, I went in July in the summer, the hottest month in the UK, and I didn't want to buy a frozen coffee, only hot coffee in the lounge area.

Stonehenge is wonderful, of course it is, how can it not be. The stones are majestic and awe inspiring even in December. But is the trip up to the stones, walking round and back again worth the price they charge. No it really isn't, the first time I went pre this new visitor centre, it was humble but affordable and did everything it needed. The new visitor centre does not add the value that English heritage seem to think it does.
One of the most mysterious sites in the world, some think it's an ancient observatory, others think it's a portal to another world, but actually the current Stonehenge is rebuilt, not originally in its original location and appearance
London is a long way away. The buses are a great sight, a glimpse of the English countryside, a swarm of green grass and sheep. As one of the wonders of the world, Stonehenge, to feel its grandeur and mystery. It's a short walk from the entrance to the Stonehenge, it's raining in April, it's windy and rainy, and the visit is greatly discounted. Still better to go in good weather, best time to take pictures when the sunset is sunny.
I dare you to challenge me. Ha ha, that's interesting.
