The Hettwer-Bastion is a fortifications system placed below the Capuchin Monastery. It’s a good observation point, offering very beautiful views of the town, but there are better views if you continue...

From this bastion located on the edge of Salzach you get a large view of the old Salzburg hole with the castle as the main player.

This defensive bastion, built in the 17th century, is located on the top of the mountain near Salzburg. The view is generally impressive! The general impression complements the beautiful views that are opening from here.
The bastion on the hill of Kapuzinerberg
The Hetwer Bastium is located on the Capuzinerberg hill above Salzburg. Part of the defensive structures belongs to the 17th century. From here, the chic views of the historic part of the city are opened.
