This is my first beach to San Diego, so it gives me the best feeling of a beach, the beach is very big, not many people, but the waves are very big, with the surge of people, surfing together, life is really good.
We stayed at the Bahia Hotel in Mission Bay. The beach is 10 minutes'walk from the hotel. The beach is facing the Pacific Ocean. It's a good place to watch the sunset. There are flocks of seagulls on the beach, living in harmony with people.

One of the most gorgeous beaches in San Diego. Lined with cute condos and hot nightclubs a day at the beach can easily become a night on the town. There's a wide variety of people that frequent Mission Beach so it's the perfect place to soak up the sun and play in the waves while people watching.
So much to do, so little time!!! Try riding the famous roller coaster at Belmont Park, renting beach cruisers to ride up and down the two lively miles boardwalk, catching some waves in the ocean or dining at one of the many delicious restaurants and bars in the area....
A great beach with great store, bars, and houses along the boardwalk that give it a great beachy vibe. It's the essence of San Diego, and southern California for that matter. Definitely spend a day just hanging out here!
This beach faces the waves of the Pacific Ocean. It's a good place to watch the sunset. The area is very wide, with wooden walkways and a small portion of cement walkways. There are a lot of people. Experience the slow life of America.
Miles of beach and great surf. Some restaurants but a lot. Some shopping. The place for the kids is Belmont Park in Mission Beach. Great wave machine there as well.
One of my favorite places in San Diego, fun, sun and sand. Gotta Love it!!!! So much to do and see...a must see/do if going to San Diego. :o)
Talk about all walks of life, and beautiful women, and a beautiful beach ! Use to hang out here A LOT when i was stationed in SD
