Once a year in May they close down the bridge for the Navy fundraiser and you can walk across it. So much fun and a great photo op.
Lots of vehicle traffic on the bridge. You get a great view of downtown San Diego, Coronado and surrounding areas from the bridge.
An iconic visual feature of San Diego, it’s elegant slope a beautiful feature for a bridge that carries a shocking number of mainly military commuters. Was a toll bridge for many years until paid off and surprisingly not kept one and instead true to the original plan.
Beautiful bridge. A little scary to drive on but beautiful pics from a boat.
A must do when in San Diego. Ferry ride over, grab some eats, ride a bike around island, see the ocean and visit historic Coronado Hotel.
