We first went to Osteria several years ago while visiting the Bay Area. We returned recently and found it just as excellent as before. The Tortellini della Casa is prepared with the restaurant’s rich and savory meat sauce and is absolutely delicious (be sure save some of the bread basket for the last bits of sauce!). The Insalata della Casa, served with an herb vinaigrette, is especially flavorful. Our friend ordered the Fondo di Carciofo con Gamberetti (an antipasto dish of artichoke stuffed with tiny shrimp) and loved it. The minestrone soup was filled with fresh veggies and was a hearty accompaniment. Osteria offers a warm, lovely setting for delectable Italian cuisine.
