This little cafe next to the San Francisco federal building has a variety of healthy options for breakfast and lunch. I was in a training all week and we all were let out for lunch late every day putting a ton of grumpy hungry people in line to get food - all at once! Prices were very reasonable for a cafe in San Francisco. The staff at Honey Bistro handled it perfectly every single day this week. They were fast, friendly, and responsive. They had a daily special and soup of the day. Always looked tasty and nicely done. I opted for the chicken Francesco panini the first day which was white chicken meat on large pieces of crunchy bread, so fresh! It had sun dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers and pesto with crunchy fresh lettuce. Delicious! It came with your choice of a mixed green salad with cut up fresh veggies or a cup of soup. I had the salad. Fresh, crisp, a light dressing. Very very good. I had leftovers which they wrapped in foil as I requested so it would be still good for that evening dinner. I had similar items the other days this week. Each day did not disappoint. I also picked up juice, fruit, pastry and a couple items for snack or later that evening and breakfast next morning was taken care of since the cost at my hotel was horrendous and not open in time for me to get to the training. Every day the staff remembered me and chatted a bit even though they were crazy busy. I'm talking even the chefs behind the counter recognized me and chatted or smiled. All staff worked quickly and efficiently for a huge crowd and didn't skimp on service or smiles. Highly recommend Honey Bistro!
