May 24 We met my sis at the front door of Shanghai House but it was closed on Tuesdays. She had heard that Miki next door was a favorite of our niece Jenny. Miki is so tiny with only 3 tables that will accommodate 3 or more. The other 5 tables have 2 seats. The menu is fairly simple. I had a box lunch for $10.50, and she had hot soba with tempura also for $10.50. Oddly, the server said they were sold out of ramen. I was pleased with my entree with tea as was my wife. My sis said the portions were not as large as Kitaro, her go-to Japanese resto, located in the Richmond district on Geary Blvd.
