Try the aji (Spanish mackerel) special. Sashimi + they deep fry the head and bones. Delicious.
Cheap drinks, great rolls. Toro is da bomb.
The sushi here is pretty good, especially for San Francisco sushi, with a mix of classic and modern rolls, along with plenty of nigiri and sashimi offerings. Lunchtime rush was real! Get here early.
A quiet place with food at a reasonable price. Sashimi is above average. Crunchy California roll is okay. Don't get the karaage. Just don't.
So disappointed. Been in a Japanese frame of mind all day today remembering my trip. Was excited to try Nama. Waited'til baseball game started so it wouldn't be too busy. Was seated by hostess. Then n
Do yourself a favor and DON'T waste your money here. This place turned a run of the mill sushi-craver into someone who doesn't even want to think about eating sushi for the foreseeable future.
Hot sake. Why? It's the Japanese soda with an evening meal. Also, if you like spicy raw fish dishes, try the Karai Chirashi (mixed fish over rice, served in a bowl, laced with spicy sauce).
Their service is horrible. Be prepared to wait at least an hour for your food and if you have more than 2 people, they also don't bring food out together.
Not bad. Little expensive and not the fastest service. Bluefin sashimi is unique and so is love roll-baked and so good. Rest is typical sushi.
