It's been a while since we visited the aquarium in the park. It's changed quite a bit and there's something new in the building. The observatory, animal exhibits and alligator caves are still there. They added rainforest areas inside and some very unique fish tank. Really worth a visit.

Stanhart Aquarium (Steinhart Aquarium) The Stanhart Aquarium of the California Academy of Sciences has nearly 40,000 animals representing 900 species. It is worth noting that in a marsh habitat there is an albino crocodile named Claude. There is a salmon pool near the hall, next to the entrance of the underground aquarium. You can also enter directly from the tropical rainforest hall. The entire underground aquarium has a very long moving line, the venue is very large, with different marine ecology as the theme of a variety of fish, jellyfish, turtles and other marine life. The aquarium is my personal favorite venue. There are many small interactive areas to touch starfish and watch divers feed.
It houses a collection of living animals and marine creatures like African penguins, sharks, stingrays, electric eels.Main attraction being white Albino alligator. There are displays about vast diversity of plants and creatures & also land scapes around the world.Dont miss coral reef gallery,California coast gallery, water plant gallery, rain forest and swamp gallery.
The aquarium, planetarium, and natural history museum are all integrated in the same roof, a total of 3 floors. We like this layout very much, and the California Science Museum in Golden Gate Park is rich in species.
The Steinhart Aquarium can see many tropical fish here, which are usually very rare.
