Adega: San Jose’s one-Michelin star, featuring authentic Portuguese cuisine. It is wise to abandon the chef’s menu (mainly because I don’t think the menu appeals to me) and choose a la carte: two appetizers. Picture two is octopus with red pepper. The octopus was chopped very finely. Someone said it tasted like Malanto [black line]. Picture 3 is a regular sliced ham and duck with sweet sauce.
The staple food is medium-cooked steak and paella. The rice is fine and moist, the best ever!
After a single order, it is actually cheaper and better, and the environment is the traditional lively bistro feel.
