88topSan Juan, the capital of the Puerto Rico State, the economic and cultural center. It is located on the northeast coast of Puerto Rico Island, in San Juan Bay, and is the largest port on the island. The port is wide and narrow, and is an important maritime transportation hub between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean. The city was founded in 1508, and the original inhabitants Indians called it Polycon. In 1521, it was occupied by the Spanish colonizer J. Ponce de Leon and built a city on the island at the entrance of the bay. It was called Puerto Rico, which means "port of wealth" in Spanish. At that time, the entire Puerto Rico island was called San Juan Island. The Spaniards used this site as a stronghold to resist the struggle between British and Dutch colonists. Later, the names of the island and the port will be interchanged, the port will be called San Juan, and the island will be called Puerto Rico. San Juan was occupied by the American army since 1898.

乐天的静This three-story building is a military camp built by the Spanish army on three acres of land in 1854. It can accommodate more than 1,000 soldiers and their families. It is the largest and most impressive building built by the Spanish royal family in the Americas One of the things. Its inner courtyard is large (not to be missed!) This is one of the best examples of 19th-century Spanish architecture, surrounded by some nice cafes and shops. On the second floor is the Las Americas Museum. There are three permanent collections, focusing on African heritage, American Indians and American popular art. In addition, the museum also hosts an annual temporary art exhibition.

Sarah HsThis memorial church is located next to the historical fortress, facing the Caribbean Sea, a large lawn with blue seas and blue sky, and the entire coastline is full of colorful houses and buildings. The pictures taken are postcard-like scenery.
