A Breathtaking Reward Overcoming My Fear of Heights in Bergen 😎 #fløbanen
I never imagined I could trade my acrophobia for such a soul-stirring scene. The #Fløbanen Funicular in #Bergen gifted me a view I will cherish forever.
As the funicular climbed higher and higher up Mount #Fløyen, my heart raced—but not from fear. Anticipation grew with every meter gained in altitude. When we emerged at the top, I gasped. Before me sprawled a panorama of Bergen's red rooftops, crystalline waters, verdant islands, and the majestic coastline beyond. For a moment, I forgot even to breathe.
Basking in the sun, surrounded by a tapestry of fragrant pines, I felt as though I had stumbled into a dream. I pinched myself to make sure I was awake in this alpine paradise.
To reward my bravery for overcoming my usual acrophobia, I indulged in an ice cream at Fløistuen, the charming café perched at the summit. As I savored each cool, creamy bite, I congratulated myself on discovering this new thrill of trading fear for the privilege of witnessing such beauty. The scenic wonder I beheld from the top of Mount Fløyen was a gift I will always treasure—and an perfect prize for conquering my doubts.
Bergen charmed me in countless ways, but nothing cast a spell quite like the vista from atop that mountain. Gazing out at the panorama of fjords and sea, land and sky, I felt certain I had found one of the most breathtaking rewards in all of #Norway .
had a great time here with friends! we took the floibanen and it was amazing
Floyd is near the harbor. If the itinerary is too tight, you can visit together for a day. The trees on the mountain are lush, mostly towering trees. The air is fresh. You can choose a cable car or climb up slowly. There are actually locals, with sheep, going up the mountain together!
Norway Mount Floyne _____________ The last train by cable car, although there are many places I haven't seen yet, the beautiful scenery at night, especially the snow scenery, is very beautiful. Like it here!!!
Had a great time taking the funicular up to the peak of Mount Fløyen and enjoying the view from up there
Mt. Floyne should be a must for visitors to Beren, because there is a panoramic view of the whole Beren, especially when the sun sets in the evening. Of course, it is necessary to do a good job of preventing cold and keeping warm. There's an old ice cream shop on the hill that you can try. It is recommended to climb up the cable car and sit back. The natural scenery of the whole mountain is also beautiful. The mountain is not high. It is about 3 kilometers and 45 minutes to climb up. There are still several sheep on the mountain to take photos and feed.
People say that they can see the mountain scenery by ropeway. However, the shade is too thick and the head is too dense. All the way, they can only see the blue sky and white clouds overhead. A cable car, suddenly cheerful, although the elevation is not high, but also has the "will be Ling absolute top, a list of small mountains" feeling. On the top of Mount Floyn, you can have a panoramic view of the quiet and peaceful city of Bergen, overlooking the whole Bay of Bergen. There is a restaurant and a souvenir shop on the top of the hill. Although the introduction sign on the top of the Hill said "Don't feed sheep", I only smelled sheep dung, but I did not see the imaginary stumbling, close to the sheep babbling, small disappointment. Around the dining hall, behind is a children's playground, swings, seesaws, climbing walls. While the weather is fine, the children come out to let the wind out. At the entrance of the playground, there is a big mountain goblin with a long nose, stretching out his right hand as if to hold the babies in his arms, smiling gently, as if to talk to the children - only to find that the goblin has four fingers in each hand and foot.
This is a famous scenic spot in Bergen. It has a cable car to go up and down, and 95 kroner to and fro. Up to the top of the mountain to see Bergen panorama, the vision is particularly open, feel very good. There are restaurants and scenic spots on the top of the mountain. There is also a flock of sheep on the top of the mountain, living in harmony with tourists, and even taking pictures with tourists.
