Delightful wildlife sanctuary
It is an excellent place for the great outdoors and the birds are indeed splendid. There were white pelicans, osprey fishing and on nests, resting roseate spoonbills, heron and 2 green iguanas crossi...
This is a wonderful way to wander through nature and see some beautiful things that tourists often forget about when visiting the area. We saw otters, different birds and amazing plants.
We travelled today some 60 miles to revisit the Ding Darling Nature Reserve- admittedly we should have checked but why is a nature reserve closed on a Friday (or any other day for that matter) this us...
NOT many birds today; and NOT very helpful volunteers in the Visitors center "again"

Wonderful way to spend a day

Very disappointed

Great for bird watching.
Good facilities and reception but it closes at 4.00pm which seemed a bit early. The short road trip is well worth it if you enjoy bird watching.
