The museum is located at the southeast corner of the White Orthodox Cathedral, built on the site of the Ypapanti church that was destroyed by the 1956 earthquake. The museum houses many prehistoric artifacts on the island, the most famous of which are the fisherman murals and golden goat statues found on the island. Tickets: 8 euros.
Three nights in Santorini, two nights watching the sunset in front of the Fira Prehistoric Museum, I really recommend it. At sunset, looking at the Aegean Sea, the watcher without feet appears lonely and sad. Many people watch the sunset here, and there are actually people standing next to me. Everyone is looking forward to the sunset. It’s really beautiful here, there’s no need to squeeze OIA, It's so beautiful, any language is pale.
[Scenery] Perhaps ancient humans originated all over the world
The price/performance ratio here is not bad, not many people visit
The collections here are all excavated from Akrotiri
