Huajue Lane, the Great Mosque

The first time I visited the mosque temple, I felt similar to the Han Temple building. The architectural style I imagined was different and different. The innermost part was a huge worship room. The building was relatively simple and the inside was very quiet.

The famous mosque of Islam in China, formerly known as Qingxiu Temple, is named after it is located in Huajue Lane, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. The temple was built in the early days, and according to the temple stone and "Xi'an Fuzhi", it was mostly the Ming Hongwu years (1368 ～ 1398). It was rebuilt in Chenghua two years (1466). After the first year of Jiajing (1522), Wanli 34 years (1606) and Qing Qianlong 30 years (1765), it has been renovated and expanded to become the scale of today. There was a university of scriptures in the temple, and the talents of scriptures have been out since the Qing Dynasty, and it is the center of the "Shaanxi School" of Jingtang Education.

Huajue Lane Mosque (Ticket 25), one of the two oldest Mosques in Xi'an, is a product of the integration of Islamic culture and Chinese culture. The sculptures and algae decorations in the temple are composed of Arabic engravings. Founded in the first year of Tang Tianbao, the temple has a large archway built in the early 17th century with a 9-meter-high wooden structure, with fine carvings. There are seven stone plaques in the temple, and the inscriptions are Arabic, Persian and Han. The fourth entrance to the hospital has a hall that can accommodate more than 1,000 people. There are more than 400 murals in the hall, which are patterned in Arabic and each composition has its own characteristics. I wanted to enter and see, but a bad person said that the mosque has something good to look at. . . . . I regret that I did not insist on this weak condemnation. Tourist attractions famous for Buddhist temples across the country can be said to be innumerable, and Shaanxi has many Taoist views, so when you walk into this alley from the bustling market in Xi'an to see the mosque, you will suddenly have a refreshing feeling. According to reports, the brick carvings of the Mosque are very distinctive, and there are many, almost everywhere. The most impressive thing is a quiet corridor behind the left room of the second entrance to the hospital. The brick carvings on the corridor walls are very harmonious with the environment. I will definitely go to Xi'an next time. In the temple of worship, there are Scripture carvings on the roof, of which the Quran is a giant carving seen by the world mosque, but the temple of worship cannot be visited at will, and must be Muslim to enter.

Husband Street is an old Muslim neighborhood with a history of hundreds of years, and it is full of Muslim culture. There are many mosques in the neighborhood with different ages, such as Huajue Lane Grand Mosque, Guangji Street Mosque, Daxue Lane Mosque. There are about 20,000 Hui people living in the temple, maintaining the original religious tradition and living habits. Huajue Lane Grand Mosque is also a rare quiet. Please respect the customs of Muslims when playing, such as: do not enter the halal restaurant with meat sandwich (pork stuffing), do not wear shorts and short skirts when going to the mosque.
