Latin America Memorial

The Latin American Memorial Hall is a memorial park built to display the combination of Latin American cultures. To be precise, it is actually a building complex, divided into two areas, north and south, separated by a road. The park is equipped with a library that collects and displays Latin American culture and history, avant-garde buildings, monuments, restaurants, auditoriums, etc. The concert hall here will have a free performance of the State Symphony Band every Monday at 21:00, and the scene is very lively. It is the ideal venue for concerts, musical performances, exhibitions, plays and special events. 1. Designed by the design architect Oscar Nimel, its architecture can be said to be a representative of the combination between modern architecture and civil engineering, so it has become one of the main symbols of modern architectural creation in Brazil. The whole park is based on black and white, which is very eye-catching in the bustling city. 2. The southern area of the subdivision consists of three buildings: the Latin American Congress Hall, the Latin American Congress Building Office Building and the Latin American Folklore Museum. The Latin American Memorial Hall is surrounded by a marble plaza with many tall palm trees. There is also a head sculpture on the square, that is the statue of the famous Latin American liberator Simon Bolivar. In the half-moon-shaped exhibition hall of the Latin American Folklore Museum, Latin American folk art is displayed. The north and south areas are connected by a unique sky bridge. The Bolivar Studio is one of the annexes of the Parliament Building and can accommodate 1,600 people to watch the show. The ground floor of the studio is cylindrical, and the top floor is a cylindrical glass curtain wall with a larger diameter. On the square of the North District stands the Five Fingers Liberation Monument. The monument is carved out of marble and is in the shape of a left hand with five fingers outstretched. From the direction of the thumb on the palm to the lower part of the wrist, a blood-red map of Latin America is engraved, like bloodshed, symbolizing that the liberation of Latin America was obtained by the bloody sacrifice of countless martyrs.
