What people are saying:

Cowd’s Castle is located 20 kilometers east of Inverness, England. It is mainly known for Shakespeare’s masterpiece "Macbeth". The castle described in it is based on this model. Each room in the castle is equipped with a unique commentary board. In summer, the castle also hosts dramas, concerts and other cultural events. In addition, the castle's most attractive attraction is its more than 300-year-old garden.

    Holiday Week

This coastline offers so much to see and do. Also the weather tends to be drier and milder. Try Findhorn Bay for bar/restaurants and trips to the Culbin Forrest and sands.

Beautiful gardens but a bit overpriced as Castle closed

We did know the castle was closed as it said so on the website. However I was astonished to find it would still cost eight pounds to walk in the gardens. Yes they were beautiful with amazing designs ...
