our food was excellent. I had the pizza prepared the Naples way and it was just right. My companion had pasta and ate every bite. Dessert and coffee is also very good

The taste is very good, and the amount is quite sufficient, there is not much to look at, but I can&#39;t eat it in the end, the price is very high

We can always count on the Grand Central brand -- excellent pastries and breads. Been eating their fate for years and have never been disappointed. Parking isn&#39;t easy for this location, but love that it&#39;s near the lake.

My wife and I enjoyed a holiday dinner at Cicchetti put on by her employer. We had the upstairs reserved for our group of maybe 20. It was a bit cozy, but in an intimate way, not a get-your-elbow-out-of-my-face sort of way. We had a range of delicious appetizers, flat breads and spreads mostly, and some pre-dinner drinks. The servers were quick with drink suggestions and clearing out empty glasses so that everybody was kept appropriately hydrated/inebriated. Dinner was a choice of beef, fish, or vegetarian, and the meat I had was wonderful. I had a bite of my wife&#39;s salmon and that too was superb. The sides were delicious as well (potatoes, and our new favorite veg, Brussel sprouts), but what really set the evening over the top were the desserts. We feasted on chocolate mousse, and what turned out to be our favorite, the almond cake, which we could not get enough of. One final note: be careful where you park! Many of the streets near the restaurant are residential, and permit-parking only. The signs noting this aren&#39;t as obvious as you would like.

Overall a good experience. Hubby bought a Living Social so we thought why not! I would say the proper rating is 3.5 stars. First we were not aware that this was a fixe menu and were diapoointed to find out. If we knew it was a fixe menu we probably would have reconsidered the LS. Needless to say I had perused the menu and had made decisions, none of which panned out because not offered on the fixe menu. :-( Bummer!!! The amuse bouche was nothing to write home -- a slice of heirloom tomato and a few peas. The small plate was a choice between oven roasted Brussels sprouts with watercress and pipitas (which were missing!) and fattoush. The fattoush was quite delicious, pass on the sprouts - the dish needed salt from bacon or pancetta. The main dish was a choice between falafel and fennel salad and roasted chicken with smashed potatoes. Here is where it went a little downhill - the chicken had amazing flavor. I was busy talking to hubby and didn&#39;t realize that my chicken was undercooked. My hubby pointed it out and we called the sever over and they swooped in and took my our dish to be refired - I.e., re-cooking the remaining chicken on the plate. We received an apology and excuse about it being a vein that had not cooked...?!?!?! The falafel were pretty good and would recommend that. The dessert was saffron panna cotta - AMAZING!!! That is why there are so many stars. Overall a good experience - we were seated upstairs and it was too hot. The server was superb.
