Sliced brisket very good, sauce to sweet and to much black pepper Did not like the sauce on the beans We ordered sauce on the side not on the meat. Again the brisket was great!

Pecos Pit Bar-B-Que (SoDo)

Stopped in here with three business associates, last week. Trying to be gluten-free, was very difficult here, but I never asked if they had any gluten-free options. I ended up with something with gluten, and paid for it later. But I got to say, it was excellent. Hmmm. I was going to order a cappuccino, but I mentioned the Spanish drink, a Cortado. The barista knew how to make one, and made it very well. I do plan to go back to this establishment, as it&#39;s nice to be able to find this drink. Overall the restaurant, coffee, food, was very excellent.

We ordered the Brisket sandwich, the Pulled pork Sandwich and a side of beans. The Brisket was good enough that we would order it again. The pork had a overriding porky flavor that was a turn off (this from a pork lover). I ended up dumping a bunch of the pork into the beans which itself seemed all black pepper and heat with only average flavor. The beans drowned the pork and made the combination more palatable. Mostly average food, except for the Brisket. If a I go back, I&#39;d get the Brisket and ask them to chop some of it up into a side of beans. Ignore the reviews that suggest that this place has competition quality BBQ. We have BBQ around the country and the world and this is middling a best. Even their BBQ sauce is just average. Great service though...
