So I went to have lunch there a couple of days ago with my boyfriend and my brother. I ordered some rice that was supposed to come with pineapple, soy chicken, and veggies, among other things. I ended up with a huge mountain of rice, barely any pineapple, like 2 cashews and 2 broccolis. Also, the soy chicken tasted so awful i couldn't eat it whatsoever. It felt like eating canned dog food. And I paid $12 for it. OMG, I had had thai food near University of Washington a few days before that for much less, and it was really delicious. Anyways, I've been to restaurants where i didn't like the food before, and i have to say that this is the first time i write a negative review in my life. The real reason I felt encouraged to write this, was because the girl who served us, stole from us. We paid with cash, I believe the total was like $43. The thing is that we paid like $48 including tip (we are not americans, and we just found out that you're expected to tip 15-20% of what consumed, not 10%) and she took the money and came back two minutes later telling us that we hadn't given her enough, that there was money missing to complete the $43 we were supposed to pay. I told her that we had given her $48 and she denied it. I counted the money before giving it to her so I'm sure we handed her $48. Anyways, it sucked as an experience overall, and I definitely wouldn't recommend going to this place not only because of what happened to us, but also because the food was expensive and pretty awful.
