Joule is a Seattle favorite for me and many of my friends. The menu is inventive and everything is scrumptious. I try to eat vegan and they have a wonderful &quot;vegan version&quot; of many dishes. My advice is to order several items and share them all.

Staff lovely, no reservations but easy walk in. We shared plates and loved the black rice squid and halibut. This is not your typical American fatty food place but a lovely gourmet tasting Recommended

We dined at the chefs table recently and did the 5 course. Overall, we enjoyed our meal. The food was prepared well and the presentation was also nice.

Every once in a while, after giving a place a chance to be good more often than I think is reasonable, I wonder how a restaurant can manage to expand to 3 locations when the product is so mediocre. I had a simple, chocolate almond croissant for breakfast. The dough was so stale-sweet tasting I would hesitate to classify it as &quot;croissant&quot; at all- I&#39;m guessing there is little or no butter in the batter. The &quot;chocolate&quot; was a gooey, pudding-like squirt that hardly tasted like chocolate and the almost paste was this strange, spongy hardened blob. The service, at least at the Madison location, has always been rude and/or passive at best. There are FAR better places to get your baked goods in Seattle

Had a most enjoyable time at the Ninja Cafe. Aki was wearing his Ninja costume and waiting for us outside our residence on a bicycle! He was so lovely and very helpful. He gave us some advice to go to Tokyo as he knew we were all anime fans. From beginning to end.

Stopped by for lunch. Probably the best fish and chips I have ever had. Tiny place which is more bar than restaurant. Very good service. Good beer menu.
