Lines out the door but quick service. We found space at the counter for 2. I love the verse burger and definitely add the bacon. Nobody does bacon like red mill!

Excellent tacos and great service. These aren&#39;t your regular fast food tacos, so if you are looking for fast this is the place.

The restaurant has amazing view, its atmosphere is great and the food is very tasty, too. However, 2 friends from our group had some upset stomach problems and they were the only ones who ate salads with smoked raw seafood.

A very good hotel, the bar is also great at night, the cocktails inside are delicious, and the Spanish ham is very authentic. On the top floor of a building, it is also a good choice to see the scenery.

This compact eatery does have seating, but is across the street from the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, a great place for a picnic on a warm, sunny day. The Red Mill has several locations, serving excellent burgers, good fries, and the best onion rings around. Their shakes are also worth blowing your diet over. This is the only location that serves fish &#39;n&#39; chips and they are excellent. This is not fast food--the lines can be long, and the food is cooked to order, so when it is busy, you may have a wait. This is a consideration if you have tired, hungry, cranky kids (or adults!) along. However, if you can travel at non-peak hours, or be patient, you will be rewarded.

My only problem was that there was a bone in my fish &amp; chips which was really scary when it lodged in my throat &amp; took about 10 minutes for my wife &amp; I to knock it loose. It was painful to swallow even hours later, but the food was really good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. First time this ever happened to me. I alternated eating bread, coughing and drinking liquid until it loosened. The food was a 5 star but now I&#39;m a little freaked out about fish bones.

Place is usually busy. Worth the wait in line (if there is one). Some of the best burgers around. Good sized burgers with yummy fresh toppings. Nice and messy and delicious! Very filling. I also think they have the best onion rings around.
