Sushi joints are a dime a dozen in this city, but Shiro's will always be at the top of the heap. Shiro Kashiba trained under master Jiro Ono (of Jiro Dreams of Sushi). [Eater 38 Member]
OMG! The fish is amazing! Best sashimi I've had outside Japan. The Omakase menu is pricey but worth every penny.
Book the table way ahead and be on time. Don't order sashimi if you are not experienced with raw fish. Service and food are excellent!
The sushi was AMAZING! However, I was sad to hear shiro has retired. Still would highly recommend the restaurant.
After tasting the sushi here, sushi everywhere else taste really nasty. Sushi literally melts in your mouth...
The 5-piece "tuna festival" is pricy but really great if you're not too hungry.
Definitely get the chef's selection and sit back and savor the experience!
Grab the counter seat for Omakase. Usually less people on Monday.
The deluxe sashimi platter was good for 2
The sushi is amazing. Expensive, but worth it.
