Soprano's Pizza and Pasta

Danish bakeries happen to be one foodie area that I have deep roots in. I grew up surrounded by the best of the best in this category, so the high ratings and crowds within this bakery enticed me to come inside. Not to mention, they claimed to have Kringle, which is not so easy to find. I ordered several things once my number was called and based on how they faired on these staples, I would not go back. The pastries were dry and &quot;bready&quot; (should be moist and buttery) and they were skimpy on the interior fruit. Two strikes already. The struedal was also a dry bread, but at least it was a generous portion of filling. The final straw of disappointment was the Kringle. Kringle is not supposed to be just more of the same fruit filled bread in a different shape. It&#39;s an animal of it&#39;s own and these guys don&#39;t have it dialed in AT ALL. If you want Kringle done right, you can order it from O&amp;H bakery in Racine, WI. Trader Joe&#39;s even stocks O&amp;H Kringle around the holidays. Worth watching out for. The baked goods here at Larsen&#39;s were on par with stuff boxed at the grocery store.

The restaurant has amazing view, its atmosphere is great and the food is very tasty, too. However, 2 friends from our group had some upset stomach problems and they were the only ones who ate salads with smoked raw seafood.

A very good hotel, the bar is also great at night, the cocktails inside are delicious, and the Spanish ham is very authentic. On the top floor of a building, it is also a good choice to see the scenery.
