This is a local pub with locals all around you. The food is better than average pub food. But, I&#39;ve been here before and they seem to have trouble serving a large group efficiently. I had the fish and chips and they are very good.

Staff lovely, no reservations but easy walk in. We shared plates and loved the black rice squid and halibut. This is not your typical American fatty food place but a lovely gourmet tasting Recommended

We dined at the chefs table recently and did the 5 course. Overall, we enjoyed our meal. The food was prepared well and the presentation was also nice.

I went there for brunch, hoping for carbonara. Sadly, they no longer offer it. I ordered the parpadelle. It was small and not very tasty.

Every once in a while, after giving a place a chance to be good more often than I think is reasonable, I wonder how a restaurant can manage to expand to 3 locations when the product is so mediocre. I had a simple, chocolate almond croissant for breakfast. The dough was so stale-sweet tasting I would hesitate to classify it as &quot;croissant&quot; at all- I&#39;m guessing there is little or no butter in the batter. The &quot;chocolate&quot; was a gooey, pudding-like squirt that hardly tasted like chocolate and the almost paste was this strange, spongy hardened blob. The service, at least at the Madison location, has always been rude and/or passive at best. There are FAR better places to get your baked goods in Seattle

Joule is a Seattle favorite for me and many of my friends. The menu is inventive and everything is scrumptious. I try to eat vegan and they have a wonderful &quot;vegan version&quot; of many dishes. My advice is to order several items and share them all.

My sister and I where near Lake Union today. We decided to have lunch at a place near us. On one side of us was I love Teriyaki and around the corner The Fremont Dock . It was just around when we walked in the place. It was big, spacious and empty. Our waiter brought our water and took our order. About 15-20 minutes later our lunch arrived. It looked amazing. The food was fresh and delicious. Real cod - no fish meat here and home made tarter sauce.The only problem we had was they don&#39;t give you enough tarter sauce or ketchup. Only a hand full of people came in for lunch, so their was no excuse for the waitress not to check on us. She got to us just as we where about finished, so her offer of tarter sauce was a little to late. The bar had an area outside for eating and fenced off for a band.
