This is a place for Seattle people to relax and relax. It's really a relaxation and enjoyment to sit on bicycles and carry bags around seaside chairs in Seattle. Find a place to rest and have a picnic on the beach of Alcay. Look at the opposite city of Seattle, look for the location of the space needle, and watch seagulls fly freely. I didn't ride a bicycle, but I did all the other things. I finished my journey to Seattle and Alcay Beach by half walking and half bus.
Arkay Beach Park in Seattle. This is Seattle's most beautiful natural beach and one of Seattle's favorite leisure resorts. The Olympic Mountains are also visible from here, and the Space Needle Tower in Seattle can be seen faintly. Looking at the seagulls flying up and down the sea, and the beautiful snow mountains in the distance, I was busy for a week, and my mood was finally relieved. Chinese style
Alki Beach is just a block away from our vacation rental cottage. Alki is "where it's at." The beach itself is a hot spot for sunbathers, people watchers, volleyballers, skateboarders, joggers, bikers, dog walkers, runners, and much more. There's usually a great vibe down here and a mix of people - families with kids enjoying splashing in the water, teenagers walking in huddled groups, sporting types showing off for the crowd. The sunsets are beautiful, and there's plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. It's a short jaunt from the city, but with a laid-back vibe. I love it, and chances are you will too. When the weather's fine, everyone's on Alki.
Seattle's beaches are very different than most along the coast. Much rockier, windier and colder most of the year but a favorite nonetheless! Growing up on the beaches in Washington, I loved looking for anemone in tide pools which appear along many of our great beaches. We would wade in the water while looking for unique shells and rocks, fly kites, eat picnic lunches, build forts out of driftwood and play in the sand. This is a great family day trip for both locals and visitors alike if you plan it out. Bring a picnic lunch and plenty of kites, sand buckets and towels and definitely don't forget the camera!
It's the new craze ! It's like skateboarding, but on boards that look, feel, and ride like surfboards on pavement. And there is no batter place in Seattle than Alki Beach ! Being one of Seattle’s few truly sandy beaches, Alki Beach is humbly called the Venice Beach of Washington.Have a full beach experience and learn about Washington's history. It is said that Alki Beach is where Chief Seattle greeted the first European settlers on a cold, stormy day in 1851.
Another beautiful Seattle spot on the west side. The beach gets very crowded on sunny days because it's definitely one of the nicer beaches in Seattle. Lots to see and do along the boardwalk! You can rent bikes, kayaks, paddle boards and more to kill time or you can just hang out and people watch. There are gorgeous views of the skyline at night as well.
One of the best views of the city, this sprawling Seattle beach is wonderful for photos, a run or a great meal.Plenty of choices for something to eat from cheap fish and chips at Ma Kai to fine dining at Salty's all with stunning views of the city skyline or the olympic mountains.
