Discovery Park has some spectacular views of the Northwestern coast and Mt Rainier. If you mainly want to have views and less hiking, make sure to put the West Point lighthouse in gps when ordering a Lyft. Also note that there are many hills and if renting one of the Lime bikes it can be more of an intense workout vs leisure ride. There is a long stretch of beach near the lighthouse that is very scenic. It’s located about 15+ minutes outside of downtown Seattle.
Maybe my friend and I weren't paying enough attention, but we somehow managed to turn a nice walk into a 2 hour hike in this park. Don't ask me how we did it, but we were not prepared. Otherwise, it was a fairly large park for being in Seattle, and there's also a beach and lighthouse.
This is my favorite park in Seattle. Everything is perfect. Hiking trails, beach, light house.
