Spent a lot of time here one summer when I was staying on my boat. I pull up to the docks and order some chicken wings at Hooters and then walk over to this part to enjoy them. Not a whole lot going o...
Close to the center of Downtown Seattle. Provides access to green space and water. It is just a quick 20 minute walk or you can take the streetcar ride from downtown. Wonderful place to stroll, get on...
We stayed at a nearby hotel and this park was a convenient and picturesque place to take a stroll. A lot of water and boat (and seaplane) related sights and activities nearby.
We were staying nearby & feeling the jet lag, so took a little stroll, not knowing that we would stumble on this little gem! We only walked around the boatyard and my daughter played in the fountains,...
The spectacular 4th of July fireworks is a must when staying in Seattle in summer
Beautiful park located on South Lake Union. It houses the Museum of History and Industry. The park is super clean and you'll find families/locals/ tourists hanging out around the various areas. There's sprinklers for kids to run through, tables to sit at, docks for boats and a makeshift beachfront for the urban. All in all, a nice spot to relax with sailboats, regular boats, kayakers, paddleboarders, canoers and the occasional jet plane in view.
Right on the lake and by the MOHAI, this park is perfect for families or for nearby workers to take a stroll along the water. There are fountains for kids to play in and stay cool and you can watch the hydroplanes land and take off as well. Overall, a nice upgrade to the area.
Great food truck options in the South Lake Union area. This is from Peasant Food Manifesto.
Fantastic views of Seattle!
